Borough of Glen Rock - Hazard Vulnerability Assessment Study of the Master Plan

The Borough of Glen Rock Planning Board is conducting a new Hazard Vulnerability Assessment Study (HVAS) as part of the Borough’s Master Plan.

The Borough Planning Board is conducting a workshop meeting to discuss this land use study, to provide an overview of the issues and to offer opportunities for input into the study. The presentation will be Thursday April 4, 2024 at 7:30pm at the Borough Municipal Building, 1 Harding Plaza Glen Rock, NJ 07652 as part of their meeting agenda. The Planning Board encourages the public to attend this meeting to hear about the study and to seek input.

This land use document will be part of the critical municipal efforts to create a more sustainable and resilient community. As a changing climate continues to influence our natural and built environment and appears to be impacting our communities at an increasingly greater rate year after year, it is incumbent upon every municipality to incorporate land use principles, policies, and specific recommendations to help respond and address this issue.
