2023 Recycling & Compost Changes

The following New Recycling Center hours beginning January 3, 2023:

• 8am to 3pm
• Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, & Saturday
• Closed Wednesday and Sunday to the public.  (On Wednesdays the Recycling Center will be closed to the public but employees will be picking up metal & cardboard.)

COMPOST CENTER

The Compost Center will be closed ALL Year. All vegetative waste can be disposed of throughout the year in the Recycling Center.  Wood chips can be picked up by special request. Call 201-670-3990

Comingled recycling (aluminum, tin and metal cans, glass, plastic #1, 2, 5 and aseptic cartons) will be picked up by on alternating THURSDAYS, per the Borough Calendar.

Styrofoam will only be accepted at certain times –  6 collection dates will scheduled throughout the year.  Dates are to be determined and information will be posted to the Borough website when available.
