The Friends of the Library will be accepting gently used books through
March 9 for the Great Book Sale.

Books can be left inside the back entrance to the Library during regular Library hours. Books must be boxed or bagged. Please do not drop off loose books.

The Friends sale is known for the excellent organization of its sale collection, and also the condition of the books. Therefore, we cannot accept Music cassettes, videos, magazines, textbooks in any field, encyclopedias/reference books, sets of books, Reader’s Digest Condensed Books, law and medical books, Harlequin and Silhouette books, outdated materials such as old software manuals, almanacs, restaurant and travel guides, business more than 5 years old, and anything so moldy, smelly, dirty, or crumbly that you would not read it in bed.

Glen Rock’s popular sale is scheduled for March 21 through March 24 at the Library. An invitation-only sale preview for Members of the Friends will be held on Wednesday March 20 from 5:30pm to 8:30pm. Those wishing to join Friends of the Library can make a membership donation at the door.

The sale will be open to the public on Thursday March 21 from 9:30am to 8:30pm; continue on Friday March 22 and Saturday March 23 from 9:30am to 4:30pm, and Sunday March 24 from 1pm to 4:30pm.
