Glen Rock is very unique in that it has two New Jersey Transit train lines passing through the center of town and extensive bus service as well. Parking is available for both residents and non-residents at both train stations

Glen Rock is very unique in that it has two New Jersey Transit stations:
  • Glen Rock Boro Hall Station is located at Harding Plaza between Maple Avenue and Rock Road
  • Glen Rock Main Line Station is located on Rock Road near Main Street
There are also numerous bus lines that operate in town.

"Occasional" Resident Commuter Parking
For occasional resident commuter parking there are $1 metered parking spaces on Main Street (designated for residents only).  Resident’s parking in the $1 metered spots must have a Landfill Permit; landfill permits are free and can be obtained at the Glen Rock Police Department.  A valid vehicle registration with the resident’s Glen Rock address must be provided.  For leased vehicles, residents must provide a valid NJ Driver’s License with their Glen Rock address. 

Annual Parking Permits for Residents
Annual resident permits are available for $145 for the first vehicle and $80 for the second and subsequent vehicle stickers.  Checks or money orders should be made payable to Borough of Glen Rock (no cash will be accepted).  Residents must provide a valid NJ Vehicle Registration with their Glen Rock address.  If a vehicle is leased, residents must provide a valid NJ driver’s license with their Glen Rock address. Smart Cards
Make your parking meter transaction faster & easier. When using the Borough-issued Smart Cards, the average transaction speed is only 4 seconds!!! Smart Cards are available now at the Glen Rock Police Department Records Bureau, Monday - Friday from 8:00 am to 3:30 pm. Non-Resident Daily Commuter Parking
Each train station has a Parking Meter Kiosk for non-resident daily commuter parking.  All parking spaces are numbered; take note of the number on your spot and follow the directions to make a payment at the parking meter kiosk.  The fee is $6.00 per day for 12 hours of parking.  The kiosk meter accepts cash, coin, Visa/MC, or “Smart Card”.

Monthly Parking for Non-Residents
Monthly parking passes for non-residents are available for $100.  This pass can be purchased at the Borough Clerk’s office at Borough Hall Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm or through the mail (make check payable to: Borough of Glen Rock and mail it with a self-addressed stamped envelope to:  Borough of Glen Rock,  Attn: Parking Pass, 1 Harding Plaza, Glen Rock, NJ  07452). For more information about Monthly Parking Passes for Non-Residents, please call 201-670-3956.
